Eligible Domains
The Short Links service is intended to create links to pages only in The University of Texas at Austin family of websites. To create a shortened URL, the destination URL must contain one of the following domains:
www.utexas.edu
www.austin.utexas.edu
webapp.utexas.edu
utdirect.utexas.edu
sharepoint.austin.utexas.edu
Note that sub-domains of the utexas.edu domain not listed here (e.g., issues.utexas.edu) are not supported.
Support for other domains is added when necessary. Contact Information Technology Services to request the addition of other domains.
