*Service Requests: Add, Change, Cancel
Before requesting new SmartVoice service, changes to current service, or a cancellation of service, you can verify that a SmartVoice mailbox does or does not currently exist by following these steps:
Dial the SmartVoice Express Messaging line: on campus, 2-1001; off campus, (512) 232-1001.
When prompted, enter the mailbox number, usually the 5-digit campus phone number, and press the pound key (#).
If you hear the "No mailbox at [number]" message, the phone does not have SmartVoice service. You can submit a request to order new service.
If the box exists, you will hear the prompt to leave a message. For existing boxes, you can change the mailbox assignment or cancel SmartVoice service.
