What Is Sample Power?

Sample Power is an stand-alone product designed to work seamlessly with SPSS. It allows researchers to perform statistical analysis and sample size calculations for most common experimental design (ANOVA) and regression models. It is not a plug-in module for SPSS software; it operates as an independent application.

SamplePower is designed to cover:

  • Means and differences in means

  • Proportions and differences in proportions

  • Correlation

  • Oneway and factorial Analysis of Variance (ANOVA)

  • Analysis of Covariance (ANCOVA)

  • Regression and logistical regression

  • Survival analysis

  • Equivalence tests

Copies of the Sample Power program documentation are available at the Perry-Castañeda Library (PCL) for check out. For more information including system requirements, please consult the SPSS Web site.
