Austin Disk Services

General WebDAV Connection Settings

WebDAV provides a secure way to access your Austin Disk Services account from off-campus without the use of a VPN client. If using Mac OS X, we recommend connecting through the Finder. If using a Windows operating system, we recommend connecting via secure file transfer protocol (SFTP). If you would like to connect using a different program or operating system, we’ve provided the general settings to connect to Austin Disk Services.

  • Server (Personal): https://webdav.austin.utexas.edu/yourEID
  • Server (Department): https://webdav.austin.utexas.edu/sharename

Note: The WebDAV protocol limits file transfers to 2 GB in size. If you need to transfer files larger than 2 GB, please use SFTP.
