Is my computer on Austin Active Directory?
To determine if your computer is on Austin Active Directory:
Select the Start menu. If Run is available, click it. Otherwise use the search field.
Enter "sysdm.cpl" and click OK.
Select the Computer Name tab.
If you see a Domain field, and the domain is austin.utexas.edu, your computer is on Austin Active Directory.
If you see a Domain field but the domain is NOT austin.utexas.edu, your computer is on another Active Directory.
If you see a Workgroup field, you are NOT on an Active Directory.
