Requesting Access to TED
Use this process to request a user or service account for TED.
Fill out the Request Form.
Submit the form to the Identity, Authentication & Directory Services (IAD) team at
firstname.lastname@example.org. This will generate a Footprints ticket for your request. All communications regarding the request should be made through this ticketing system.
The IAD team will review the form and may request clarification or suggest alternative resources based on the information requested.
Once the form is submitted, a service EID will be created. The credentials will be sent to the owners specified in the form via the Secure Message System.
The Acceptable Use Policy must be digitally signed by a Department Head or Manager before TED access is granted to the service EID. Once signed, access will be granted manually. Eligible signers are based on the information in the University Department System.
Note: Requests for access to restricted information can take significantly longer as the departments responsible for the respective data must approve the request. In this case basic access is granted while the approvals are pending.
