Making Calls (Long Distance): University Authorization Codes, International Calls
It is possible to dial international station-to-station calls using your university authorization code. However, this capability will be assigned to individual authorization codes by departmental request only.
| What You Do | What You Hear |

| 1) Lift the handset from the cradle. | Dial Tone |
| 2) Dial "8". | Stutter Dial Tone |
| 3) At the stutter dial tone, dial your long distance authorization code. | Second Dial Tone |
| 4) After second dial tone begins, dial "011" + country code + city code + local number. If you are using a touchtone telephone, dial "#" to eliminate a ten-second wait. | Ringing |
International person-to-person calls require a long distance calling card and operator assistance.
