Changing the Default Screen Colors (Windows)
When you connect to the mainframe through the TN3270 Windows client QWS3270, the default screen colors are white text on a black background. Complete the following instructions if you want to change the colors onscreen.
Changing the background color
From the Options menu, select Session to display the session settings dialog box.
Click the Colours link in the left sidebar to display the Color Selection page.
From the Selection list, select:
Unprotected Dim. Click the Background radio button and select the background color you want to use.
Unprotected Bright. Click the Background radio button and select the background color you want to use.
Protected Dim. Click the Background radio button and select the background color you want to use.
Protected Bright. Click the Background radio button and select the background color you want to use.
Background. Select the background color you want to use.
Default. Click the Background radio button and select the background color you want to use.
Note: You must choose the same background color for all six selections.
Click the Apply button to view the new background color.
Changing the text colors
From the Options menu, select Session to display the session settings. Click the Colours link in the left sidebar to display the Color Selection page.
From the Selection list, click the type of text you want to change, then click the Foreground radio button. Select the color you want to use.
Click the Apply button to view the new text color.
