Connecting to the Mainframe With a Macintosh

Be sure you have downloaded and installed the TN3270 Macintosh client before continuing.

When downloading, you will need to accept the agreement and download TN3270 3.3b11 with SSL, which is found in the Utilities section.

  1. Open your Applications folder.

  2. Double-click the tn3270 folder.

  3. Double-click Connect to Mainframe.

Note: When you log onto the mainframe, do not use your keyboard's numeric keypad to enter your UT EID and password. You must use the numbers on the central portion of the keyboard. After you have logged in, you can use the numeric keypad for other mainframe functions.
