Installing the Windows Client

Installation of this software requires administrative rights.

  1. Download the installer from BevoWare. When downloading, click Agree and then move on to the Utilities section and download Jolly Giant QWS3270 Secure v4.5.

  2. Locate and double-click the UTqws3270secure.msi file to launch the installer.

  3. Click Next.

  4. Accept the license agreement and click Next.

  5. Enter your name and click Next.

  6. Click Next, leaving the selection as Typical.

  7. Click Next, leaving the selection as English.

  8. Click Next.

    Note: You might be asked to provide your administrative credentials at this point.

  9. Click Finish.

Connecting to the Mainframe for the First Time

After completing the installation process above, follow the steps below to connect to the mainframe.

  1. Click Start.
  2. Select Programs or All Programs.
  3. Click UT Mainframe.
