Minimum System Requirements

ITS recommends the following minimum system requirements for computers that will run mainframe connection applications.

Windows

  • Operating System: Windows 2000, Windows ME, Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista, or Windows 7

  • Windows Sockets version 2 or higher

  • TCP/IP connection to an IBM host

  • At least 6 MB of disk space

Macintosh

  • Operating System: Mac OS 10.5.x or later
