Why does the VPN login screen not accept my credentials?

  • Make sure you are entering your UT EID correctly.

  • The system is case-sensitive; make sure your Caps Lock key is not active.

This problem may also occur if you have a block placed against your UT EID for some reason. For instance, if the campus network detects virus activity originating from on your system, your network access will be shut off until your computer is fixed and the block is lifted.

Please contact the ITS Help and Service Desk if you suspect your VPN account has been disabled.
