Changing SmartVoice Mailbox Assignments
Using the bulleted list below, send the required information in an email to
- Phone number or mailbox number:
- New owner’s name:
- New owner’s EID:
- Current owner’s name (if known):
If you want the box reassigned as a non-EID departmental mailbox, use the department name for the owner's name and "n/a" for the EID.
- Highlight and copy the list from this page and paste it into the email.
- Request changes to as many mailboxes as you need in the same message.
- Cc: the end user(s) in the email. When we reply with setup instructions, we’ll reply to all, so you won’t have to forward the instructions.
- Use customers’ preferred names. SmartVoice directory entries do not have to match the official UT directory.
- Please use an email signature with your (the orderer’s) name and phone number, in case we have questions about your order.
