As part of the Web Central Services Retirement project, the ITS website will be retired. Information about IT services will be replaced by two new sites, IT@UT and UT ServiceNow, and ITS departmental information will be migrated to a new location. All changes will be completed by 7/28/2016.

Forwarding Voice Messages

You can forward a message you received to another SmartVoice mailbox using the telephone.

To forward a message:

  1. Log in to SmartVoice, then press 73.

  2. Enter the 5-digit mailbox number to which you want to forward the message, followed by #. Repeat as needed if forwarding the message to multiple mailboxes.

  3. Press # again after all recipient boxes have been entered.

  4. (Optional) To preface the forwarded message with a comment, press 5 to record the comment, then # to end the recording.

  5. Press 79 to forward the message.

To delete messages you have forwarded, you must delete both the original message and the outgoing copy that you created above.

  1. Press 76 to delete the outgoing copy.

  2. Press 4 to return to the previous message (the original message).

  3. Press 76 again to delete the original message.
