Adobe Connect
Adobe Connect is a Web communication system that lets university faculty and staff present lectures and courses online and host collaborative meetings online. An optional plug-in, Adobe Presenter, can be used to enhance an Adobe Connect Web conference.
Adobe Connect
Use Adobe Connect to present and participate in real-time meetings and seminars. Meeting hosts can have interactive presentations that include PowerPoint slides, live and recorded video, Flash animations, live screen-sharing, audio, and two-way text chat. Participants can have real-time discussions using two-way text chat, and can brainstorm and collaborate using an online whiteboard, as well as application and desktop sharing.
Adobe Presenter
Use Adobe Presenter, a plug-in that integrates with Microsoft PowerPoint on the Microsoft Windows operating system, to create Flash presentations that include narration, animation, video, interactivity, and quizzes. Presenter is especially helpful for creating self-paced courses, such as online training courses.
A trial version of Adobe Presenter 7.07 is available from the Adobe Connect 8 Server. Adobe Presenter 7.07 is a legacy version that is compatible with 32-bit versions of Microsoft Office 2007 and Office 2010. It can be downloaded from the ITS Adobe Connect Downloads page

Note: Adobe Presenter 7.07 (the legacy version) can only publish content to Adobe Connect 8. If you plan on using Adobe Presenter to publish to Adobe Connect 8, Adobe Presenter 7.07 is the preferred version for long term use.
The new product release, Adobe Presenter 8 is compatible with 32-bit versions of Microsoft Office 2007 and Office 2010. It is also compatible with the 64-bit version of Office 2010. For system requirements please see adobe.com
