Adobe Connect

Adobe Connect is a Web communication system that lets university faculty and staff present lectures and courses online and host collaborative meetings online. Optional software, Adobe Presenter, can be used to enhance an Adobe Connect Web conference.

Adobe Connect

Use Adobe Connect to present and participate in real-time meetings, trainings, events and seminars. Meeting hosts can have interactive presentations that include PowerPoint slides, live and recorded video, Flash animations, live screen-sharing, audio, and two-way text chat. Participants can have real-time discussions using two-way text chat, can brainstorm and collaborate using an online whiteboard, as well as share desktops and applications.

Adobe Connect meetings, trainings, events and seminars can be created and attended on Macintosh/Windows desktops, laptops, and mobile devices. Mobile device support includes Apple IOS devices (iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad), Android devices (selected smartphones and tablets) and Blackberry Playbook. Adobe Presenter 10

Adobe Presenter 10 is a plug-in that integrates with Microsoft PowerPoint on the Microsoft Windows operating system. Adobe Presenter 10 software lets one create HD video lectures for classroom teaching, distance learning, flipped learning and MOOC sessions. Simultaneously capture screen content along with webcam video, or turn PowerPoint slides into interactive eLearning with out-of-the-box assets and quizzes. Leverage HTML5 publishing to deliver courses to tablets. Track content consumption and learner performance with the built-in analytics dashboard. Adobe Presenter 10 creates content that is compliant with Tin Can, AICC, SCORM 1.2, and SCORM 2004 and can be used with third-party Learning Management Systems.

Adobe Presenter 10 Content can be published from Adobe Presenter to Adobe Connect 9. You can play Adobe Presenter 10 presentations in an Adobe Connect meeting as either a static click-through presentation or a self-running, narrated presentation.

Adobe Presenter Video Express 10 (Mac)

Adobe Presenter Video Express 10 (Mac) is a lightweight version of Adobe Presenter 10. It is installed as an app. Microsoft PowerPoint is not required. Adobe Presenter Video Express for MAC is an app which is used to create videos and publish them.
