As part of the Web Central Services Retirement project, the ITS website will be retired. Information about IT services will be replaced by two new sites, IT@UT and UT ServiceNow, and ITS departmental information will be migrated to a new location. All changes will be completed by 7/28/2016.

Connecting to UTS via SFTP Using Fetch (Mac OS X)

A secure FTP (SFTP) program uses File Transfer Protocol to exchange files securely between a server and a client. In the case of UTS, SFTP will make it easier for you to upload and download files between your computer and the UTS servers.

Connecting through SFTP using Fetch

  1. Download and install the Fetch SFTP program for Mac.
  2. Open Fetch and a New Connection window will come up.
  3. Enter the following information:

                   Host Name: 
                   User Name: username
                   Connect Using: SFTP  
                   Password: password
  4. Click Connect.
