Using File and Folder Subscriptions to Track Activity in WebSpace
When you subscribe to a file or folder, WebSpace will send you reports detailing particular types of activity. You can choose to receive updates when a file is read, changed, or receives a comment.
Note: WebSpace notifications will be sent to the email address you have officially listed with the university. If your email address changes, you can update your information through All My Addresses on UT Direct.
Subscribing to a File or Folder
Click the file or folder you want to subscribe to, select Manage, and then choose Subscriptions from the pop-up menu.
Select the New Subscription button.
Click the checkboxes for the type of activity you are interested in tracking.
Choose how often WebSpace should notify you of file changes using the Frequency radio buttons.
Cancel a Subscription
Click the name of the file you want to unsubscribe from, select Manage, and then choose Subscriptions from the pop-up menu.
Select the checkbox that corresponds with the subscription you want to cancel.
Select the Unsubscribe button.
