Downloading Files from WebSpace

If you are a current WebSpace user and wish to download your stored files and folders, please follow the steps outlined below. This can be done on its own or in preparation for moving to another storage solution.

  1. Log into WebSpace.
  2. In the Files tab you will see a listing of your files and folders. Check the boxes next to the files you wish to download, or check the box on the title bar to select/deselect all files.

Note: If you have a large amount of data stored in your WebSpace account, we recommend against downloading your data as a single file. Instead, break the download up into separate portions.

  3. Next, click the Save to Zip File button. If this button does not appear on the title bar, you can find it under More Actions. Save the resulting .zip file to your computer.

Opening a .zip File

Before this compressed .zip file can be uploaded to another service, you may need to extract it.

Windows: Double click the file to open it, then click Extract all files.
Mac OS X: Double-click the file, and its contents will be extracted into the same folder.
