Changing Your Password

DO NOT use your UT EID password as your UT Lists password. You should never use your UT EID password for anything other than your UT EID.

You can easily change the default password provided by UT Lists:

1. Log in to UT Lists.
2. Select the Your Preferences link.
3. In the Changing your password section, enter your new password, re-enter it to confirm, then click the Submit button.

Note: Passwords MAY NOT be more than 8 characters in length. Although UT Lists will allow you to enter a password that is more than 8 characters, and will report that it was accepted, you will be unable to use this password for subsequent login attempts.
