I have several different e-mail addresses. Which one should I use when subscribing to lists?
UT Lists is flexible, so you should use whichever e-mail address you want. Just be sure that you can log on and check the e-mail account you decide to use.
The e-mail address that works best is the one your mail reader puts in the From: line of your messages. (Try sending a message to yourself, and look at the From: line to see which address the message is actually being sent from.) Using this e-mail address ensures that any restricted lists that you subscribe to will work properly.
NOTE: If you want to create or own a list, you should use an e-mail address that ends in ".utexas.edu".
