Adding the UT Directory to Your Outlook Address Book (Mac)

• Operating System: Macintosh OS X 10.3 and 10.4
• Application: Microsoft Entourage 2004 SP2

Note: If you are using this procedure to connect to an LDAP server other than The University of Texas at Austin online directory, you will need to substitute the server name that your System Administrator gave you for "ldap.utexas.edu" whenever that appears.

1. Open Entourage.
2. From the Entourage menu, select Account settings.
3. Select Directory Service and select New.
4. In the Account name field, enter a descriptive account name.
5. In the LDAP server field, enter "ldap.utexas.edu" (or the name of your LDAP server, if different).
6. Click OK.

Now when you send a message, you can search for contacts using the UT Directory.
