Preventing Meeting Requests from Being Deleted

Outlook 2003 usually sends meeting requests to the Deleted Items folder when you respond to a meeting request. To change this setting and keep your meeting requests:

  1. From the Tools menu, select Options.
  2. Select the Preferences tab.
  3. Select the E-Mail Options button, and then select the Advanced E-Mail Options button.
  4. Make sure the Delete meeting request from Inbox when responding checkbox is not selected.
  5. Select the OK button on the three dialog boxes to close them.
