Managing Multiple Outlook Mailboxes (Outlook 2003 & 2007)

  • Operating Systems: Windows XP and Windows Vista
  • Applications: Outlook 2003 and Outlook 2007

When you have run Outlook and set up more than one profile, you can choose to use the same profile each time you run Outlook or you can have Outlook prompt you for a profile to use.

  1. Click the Start button, and then click Control Panel.
  2. Click the Mail icon.

Note:   If you don't see a Mail icon, your control panel may be in category view. In that case, click Switch to Classic View. You should then see the Mail icon.
  3. Click Show Profiles.
  4. Choose one of the following:
    • To use the new profile automatically, select Always use this profile, then select the profile name from the drop-down list.
    • To choose between your profiles, select Prompt for a profile to be used. Each time you run Outlook, it will prompt you to select the profile you want to use.
  5. Click OK to exit.
