Sharing Folders
You can share Austin Exchange Messaging Service (AEMS) information, such as e-mail folders and calendar entries, with other AEMS users. If you need someone to send e-mails, meeting requests, and meeting acceptances for you, you must make that person a delegate.
Outlook
Complete the following steps in Outlook to share folders with other AEMS users.
- Open Outlook.
- Select the folder you want to share, such as Inbox or Calendar.
- Right-click the folder and select Change Sharing Permissions.
- Click the Add button and select the person you want to share the folder with.
- Click the OK button.
- Modify the permissions as necessary and click OK.
If another person has shared a folder with you,
Entourage
Complete the following steps in Entourage to share folders with other AEMS users.
- Click the Mail button.
- Select Folder Properties from the Edit menu and then click the Permissions tab.
- Select the user you want to share information with and click OK.
- In the Permissions list, click the user's name and then click the access level you want for them on the Permission Level pop-up menu.
