Accessing Mailboxes if you are a Delegate (Outlook 2003)

If someone has assigned you as their delegate, you can send or receive e-mail or meeting requests on their behalf. You must acknowledge the assignment to display their Austin Exchange Messaging Service (AEMS) e-mail and calendar.

Accessing Mailboxes if you are a Delegate

  1. Open Outlook.
  2. On the Tools menu, select E-Mail Accounts.
  3. Select the View or change existing e-mail accounts option, and then select Next.
  4. Select the Exchange account type, and then select Change.
  5. Select More Settings, and then select the Advanced tab.
  6. Select Add, and then enter the mailbox name of the person whose mailbox you want to add.
  7. Select OK to close both windows.
  8. You should now be able to expand the delegated mailbox in the main Outlook pane.
