Accessing Mailboxes if you are a Delegate
- Log in to Outlook Web Access (OWA) in Internet Explorer 6 or later. Do not select the "Use Outlook Web Access Light" option.
Note: You cannot view someone else's mailbox if you use Outlook Web Access Light. - Click your user name in the upper right corner and then enter the mailbox name of the person whose mailbox you want to add.
- Select Open. You will need to allow pop-ups in OWA if you have the pop-up blocker enabled.
- You should now be able to view the delegated mailbox.
You can also access the delegated mailbox by entering the following URL in Internet Explorer:
https://wmail.austin.utexas.edu/owa/alias@austin.utexas.edu
where alias is the e-mail alias of the person for whom you are a delegate.
