To start off the New Year, ITS Software Distribution and Sales (SDS) is happy to announce three software licenses available later this month at greatly reduced bulk prices. New licenses to be offered include JMP 8, NVivo 8, and MySQL Enterprise Platinum 5.1.
- JMP software from SAS is designed for interactive and dynamic data visualization. Licenses will be available on both Mac and Windows platforms to faculty, researchers, and students of The University of Texas at Austin as an annual lease running from September to August.
- NVivo is a qualitative data analysis program used to handle information, where deep levels of analysis on both small and large volumes of data are required. NVivo 8 will be available on the Windows platform to students, faculty, and staff in the University of Texas System as an annual lease running from September to August.
- MySQL Enterprise Platinum server software will be available to all University of Texas at Austin departments as an annual lease running from January to December.
Orders for these new licenses will be available through TXShop starting mid- to late- January 2009.
