Replacement Mainframe Delivered

The replacement mainframe has been delivered to the new University Data Center; the associated data storage is scheduled to arrive later this month. Installation, configuration and testing of the replacement mainframe will begin this month with a hot cut-over from the old machine anticipated sometime in the March 2011 timeframe. More information will be available later this spring about how the replacement machine will support the computing needs for campus.
