New Ways to Learn for Campus-wide Technical Staff

June 15, 2011

Technical staff across campus now have expanded options for receiving quality self-directed training with Safari Books Online. Thanks to a new flexible pricing schedule for the Premium subscription option, any UT Austin department or UT System campus can take advantage of this cost-effective means of scheduling professional development time.

Once a seat license is purchased, employees interested in improving their skillset, solving a particular problem or exploring new areas of interest can access over 15,000 full text book titles and training videos from more than 90 major publishers. Safari Books Online is set up to promote team work with project spaces, shared content and notes. It also improves learning efficiency with onDemand personalized training folders.

As the total number of purchased seats increases, the per user price improves for everyone. To learn more, or sign-up for the service, please contact Dustin Womack, Safari Books Online. There is no time limit on this offer.
