Learn More About Adobe Acrobat Connect on Campus

ITS would like to invite you to Adobe Acrobat Connect Information Day on Thursday, July 9, 2009 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. You can attend in person at the ACES Avaya Auditorium (ACE 2.302), or remotely using Adobe Acrobat Connect Pro (morning session and afternoon session).

The university has selected Adobe Acrobat Connect Pro to use for campus Web conferencing. Acrobat Connect enables faculty and staff to create and share presentations and online training materials. Meeting organizers can create a meeting room, invite individuals to a meeting, then present both audio and video information to attendees. Organizers can share their screens, PowerPoint presentations or other documents for collaborative or teaching purposes. Participants have access to notes, a chat room and a whiteboard to further enhance the collaborative experience.
