ITS Help Desk Offers Consultations via New Online Chat

The ITS Help Desk now has a new way for consultants to answer your questions. In addition to calling or e-mailing when you have a computer-related problem, you can now get help through real-time chat with consultants using LiveHELP, an online chat service.

To chat online with an ITS Help Desk consultant, go to the ITS Help Desk home page or the ITS Help & Support page, and click the LiveHELP icon. You don’t need to install any software or create an special account to use LiveHELP. After clicking, wait until a consultant responds and then let them know how they can help you.

Online chat sessions are a convenient and effective way to have your questions answered. Typically, you will get your answers quickly without having to wait. Some users may find it easier to ask questions about other ITS products and services while chatting. Using LiveHELP also allows you to multi-task while the consultant works with you to resolve your problem.

Chat services are available during regular ITS Help Desk business hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. If you have a question outside of these hours, you can send an e-mail to consultants at the ITS Help Desk.
