New UT Austin Mobile Web Site Launched

A new mobile site for The University of Texas at Austin is now available offering students, faculty, and staff a mobile-friendly way to access a variety of university-related information.

The site features a UT-themed design, intuitive navigation, and access to a number of university resources. Highlights include the ability to view university calendars and events, and the latest news, schedules, scores, and rosters for UT sports teams. It also includes access to Blackboard, the university courseware system.

Some features—such as Google Maps integration with the campus map—are still in development for the UT Austin mobile site. Currently, iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch users can access this feature through the official UT Austin iPhone app from iTunes, which is a great complimentary resource to the UT Austin mobile site.

UT Mobile is a collaborative effort made possible by the Center for Teaching and Learning, College of Fine Arts, Daily Texan, Development Office, Housing & Food, Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center, McDonald Observatory, Office of Public Affairs, School of Law, Texas Sports, University Libraries, University Operations and Information Technology Services.
