Supporting UT Football

September 14, 2012

Information Technology Services (ITS) is there – behind the scenes – during UT Austin’s home football games. Along with Sandra Germenis, Associate Director, many Networking and Telecommunications (N&T) team members from Outside Plant, Telecom, Networking, Multi-media, Warehouse, Inside Plant, and Building Security worked the first two games this year.

Special thanks go out to: Harold Nall, Brian Kufahl, Ben Pollard, Conrad Sanchez, Jeff Gonzales, Jeremy Brown, Larry Lesson, Jamie Higginbotham, Eugene Kokes, James Killingsworth, Ulysses Cox, Shaun Keogh, Juan Davila, Schuyler Hupp, Jim Berry, George Geranios, Clayton Luckie, Cole McClellan, Larry Heysquierdo, Kurt Simmons, Andrew Olivet, Matt Dionne, Oscar Escobedo, Steve Longuil, Dwain Pape, David Krolczyk, plus those on call.

ITS staff is on the sidelines, in the operations room, literally in the scoreboard and the sound booth, and walking the stadium testing connectivity.

Michael Bos, Associate Athletics Director, recently said: " We can't do what we do without the help of the ITS staff and I just wanted to thank you and those involved for their efforts."
