Upgrade to Cellular Service on Campus

September 13, 2013

In August, AT&T completed its Long Term Evolution (LTE, often referred to as 4G) upgrade of the Distributed Antenna System (DAS) for cell phones and other mobile devices. Additional capacity was also added to AT&T's Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS, often referred to as 3G). Coverage inside many buildings may also have improved.

Information Technology Services (ITS) continues to work with carriers to improve coverage on campus. If you are experiencing coverage problems, please report them using the Cellular Service Report form
