Central Storage Roadmap Update - November 2010
The Central Storage Project is making progress in setting the strategic direction for supplying campus storage needs over the next 3-5 years.
The project's customer steering committee has reviewed the 15 vendor responses to the Request for Information (RFI) and is currently developing a plan based on what they learned which will result in the creation of multiple Request for Proposals (RFPs). Schedules for the RFPs are being created and will be shared with campus and the customer steering committee in their next meeting in early January 2011.
Bryan Harold, the new Director for Information Technology in the College of Natural Sciences, recently offered to serve as a member of the customer steering committee. His knowledge and expertise are welcomed going into the final phases of this project.
