President Powers reached out to the university's former students this week inviting them to opt-in to UTmail. In just over 24 hours, more than 12,000 former students have their own UT-branded (@utexas.edu) email account for life.

UTmail also offers a 25 GB mailbox size, no advertisements, an easy-to-use and familiar interface and access to a number of additional collaborative applications.
