December 5, 2007, was a record breaker for the Blackboard servers managed by ITS. Blackboard, the online course management system used by faculty and students to communicate and collaborate about a course, always sees an increased demand at the end of the semester. Though current data doesn't indicate which courses, instructors, and students created the busiest and most demanding day for the Blackboard servers, usage information does indicate a trend upward on a number of counts.
