Desktop and Laptop Support

We use remote tools to troubleshoot computers, with user permission. We advocate folder redirection for Windows machines so that your users' data is backed up on secure Austin Disk Services central storage. In addition, we deploy new hardware, facilitate computer lifecycle and inventory control, and provide support for the individuals and the applications they use.
Server Support
If you have your own servers, we help with installation, administration, maintenance, and server-based applications. We support Windows, Mac, Unix, Solaris, and multiple distributions of Linux.
Alternatively, we can assess your IT needs and determine which centralized IT services are best for your department. Options include both Windows and Linux/Unix virtual machines, co-locating servers, and Tivoli Storage Manager as a backup solution.
Lab Management Support
We provide comprehensive management for computer labs, including provisioning and managing proctors, facility administration, and technical configuration and support. Your lab can contain both Windows and Mac OS computers, and lab users can print using the ITS printing solution. Lab computers are secure, up-to-date, and retain no user data after logout.
Call Center Support
Using BMC Remedy, we can build a call center solution that meets your needs. They key component of the call center is a customized knowledge base that we work with you to create. By documenting your unique IT environment and needs, the call center can resolve routine requests. This frees your existing technical staff to concentrate on more complex incidents and IT needs. We also provide regular reports on incidents and consult with your IT staff on continually improving the service.
Projects and Consulting
We have over 70 experienced and professional staff members to consult with you about your IT needs and environment. If your technical staff needs assistance, we can help, and we can provide emergency support if needed. Projects and consulting are charged at an hourly rate, which varies depending on the skill set needed.
