ITS Printing Service

Picking Up Your Printed Document

The location for your printed pages depends on which queue you sent your print job to. Each print job includes a banner page with the EID of the person submitting the job. Ask a proctor for help if you cannot find your printed output.

In ITS-managed labs:

  • Recent jobs are on the output table at the proctor's desk.
  • Older jobs are filed nearby.
  • Color or other special jobs are filed separately.

Stay logged in. If possible, remain logged in on a lab computer until you have your printouts in hand, since you may need to resend the print job. However, be sure to lock your workstation if you have to leave it unattended.

Save your file to a disk. A disk backup allows you to log out from a lab computer with the assurance that even if your print job goes awry, you can print the file again.
