Microsoft Online Clinics for Forefront
The video-based courses listed here provide a comprehensive overview and deployment details for client and server products. Each clinic takes two or three hours to complete, including interactive self-tests to ensure comprehension. Clinic 6078: Deploying Microsoft Forefront Client Security
This online clinic will provide the knowledge necessary to understand the key features of Microsoft Forefront Client Security, as well as the considerations for deploying Forefront Client Security in a network environment. In addition to providing an overview of the Forefront Security products, the clinic will cover different deployment scenarios, such as installing Forefront Client Security in both single and multiple server environments, and transitioning from existing client security products. The clinic will also cover the process of deploying Forefront Client Security policies.
At the end of the course, students will be able to:
- Describe Forefront and Forefront Client Security.
- Deploy Forefront Client Security and the appropriate Client Security policies.
Clinic 6079: Managing and Troubleshooting Operations in Microsoft Forefront Client Security
This online clinic will provide the knowledge necessary to manage operations in Microsoft Forefront Client Security in a networked environment. The clinic focuses on using the reporting features in Forefront Client Security to better manage the security environment, using alerts and setting alert parameters to detect security risks, and performing scanning operations using Forefront Client Security. The clinic also covers troubleshooting issues that may occur in a Forefront Client Security deployment.
At the end of the course, students will be able to:
- Manage Microsoft Forefront Client Security.
- Manage alerts by using Forefront Client Security.
- Perform scanning operations and troubleshoot issues in Forefront Client Security.
Clinic 6080: Deploying Microsoft Forefront Server Security Products
This online clinic will provide the knowledge necessary to understand the key features of Microsoft Forefront Server Security for Exchange and Microsoft Forefront Server Security for SharePoint. In addition to an overview of the Forefront Server Security products, this clinic will also cover how to install Forefront Server Security in an enterprise network environment. This clinic will also cover the knowledge you will need to manage a Forefront Server Security deployment, such as configuration, reporting and maintaining Forefront Server Security product deployments.
At the end of the course, students will be able to:
- Describe and install Forefront Security for Exchange Server and Forefront Security for SharePoint.
- Manage Forefront Security for Exchange Server and Forefront Security for SharePoint .
