Overview
Under the Texas Campus-wide Software License Grant (CSLG) program, educational institutions in the State of Texas can obtain quarterly license PAKs for UNIX and VMS systems covered under the program. The CSLG program serves a consortium made up of Independent School Districts and institutions of Higher Education located in the State of Texas.
This program is for the CSLG portion of DEC's TEI program; joining this program entitles you to license PAKs for the CSLG only. Software maintenance and consulting are not provided, and must be obtained directly from the vendor. Schools can enroll their campus in the CSLG program by purchasing the Annual CSLG Enrollment item.
Cost and Eligibility
The DEC Program is available to students, faculty, staff, and departments at schools in The University of Texas System. Schools outside of the UT System should refer to the CSLG Software Program.
The Campus-wide Software License Grant (CSLG) License PAKs only for unlimited machines is $250/year. DEC annual fees are due each fiscal year (September 1 through August 31). Machines whose enrollment is not being renewed must have covered software products and licenses uninstalled.
System Requirements
Hardware running Tru64 UNIX (formerly OSF, Digital UNIX, etc.) or OpenVMS (on Alpha or VAX); hardware may be owned by individuals (students, faculty, staff) or by the institution.
