How to Buy
Faculty, Staff, and Departments at UT Austin
Faculty, Staff, and Departments at UT Austin are eligible to purchase Minitab for use on university-owned systems only. This software can be purchased from SDS through our secure online store, TXShop. If you do not already have one, you must get a UT EID in order to use our online store.
Please note that licenses (the legal right to use the software) and media (CD-ROMs) are sold separately. Please refer to the product description(s) of the items that you are purchasing to determine which installation media you need to purchase.

Students
Students can purchase or lease Minitab directly from Minitab, Inc. Students can also access Minitab on Windows Terminal Services (WTS).
Using Minitab on WTS
Students, faculty and staff at The University of Texas at Austin may obtain timesharing access to Minitab by purchasing a Windows Terminal Services (WTS) account.
