Overview

SAS 9.2 TS2M2 Installation Media is now available and compatible with Enterprise, Business, Professional, and Ultimate editions of Windows 7, Vista, and XP, as well as Windows 7 Home Premium. Current licensees can order an upgrade copy in TXSHOP.  New licensees must also purchase a license. 

Prior to TS2M2, SAS Inc. released incremental updates of SAS 9.2:  TS1M0 (March 2008) and TS2M0 (June 2009); these releases are not are compatible with Windows 7. Customers wishing to install the SAS software on their machines running compatible editions of Windows 7 must upgrade to SAS 9.2 TS2M2.

SAS statistical software provides a powerful tool to analyze, manage, view, and even present complex data in a variety of formats. Applications of the SAS System include executive information systems; data entry, retrieval, and management; report writing and graphics; statistical and mathematical analysis; operations research and project management; statistical quality improvement; computer performance evaluation; and applications development. Cost and Eligibility

SAS is available to students, faculty, staff, and departments at The University of Texas at Austin, as well as other institutions in The University of Texas System.

Current Version

The current distribution of SAS is 9.2 TS2M2 is *not* compatible with Home Editions of Windows XP or Vista. Please see the SAS Inc. Website for more details.

Note: SDS no longer offers SAS for Macintosh or IBM/OS2.
