Overview
A SharePoint Web site allows you to easily collaborate with colleagues from across the university and around the world. The ability to create knowledge bases, online surveys, discussion boards, and chats can help produce, organize, and distribute project information.
A one year SharePoint license includes one SharePoint site and as many SharePoint subsites as you desire. Your SharePoint site URL can include your college or department if desired (for example sharepoint.[your department name].utexas.edu).

- A one-year license includes 90 minute set-up consultation, plus 1 hour of consulting per month.
- 1 GB disk storage (additional storage is available).
- Sharing and collaborating on electronic documents reduces paper printing, and therefore paper waste.
- Collaborating electronically with remote colleagues reduces travel. This saves between 0.6 and 1 pound of carbon emissions for each mile someone would have traveled.

Cost
SharePoint is available for $1200 per year for a non-branded URL, and $1600 per year for a branded URL.
