Connecting to austin.utexas.edu Disk Services using WebDAV (Mac OS X 10.4.8 and above)
NOTE: WebDAV limits file transfers to 2 GB in size. Mac OS 10.4 users also might experience problems with text files. If you need to transfer larger files to austin.utexas.edu or use text files, use SFTP.
If you have subscribed to Disk Storage on austin.utexas.edu (disk.austin.utexas.edu ) and you use your disk space on the Austin domain to store files, publish Web pages or use Windows Terminal Services from a campus computer, you can use the WebDAV protocol to access Austin disk files securely from off-campus. This type of access, sometimes referred to as "opening a share," is available to students, faculty and staff at The University of Texas at Austin.
