Error: The network path \\disk.austin.utexas.edu\root\sharename could not be found
This error message can occur when:
- You attempt to map to austin.utexas.edu from a Windows Vista or XP computer that is on the Austin domain but does not have the correct IPSec group policy applied. Have your Technical Support Contact follow the instructions for Applying a Group Policy to an Organizational Unit (OU).
- You use a forward slash (/) instead of a backslash (\) when entering the path for the mapped drive. Try mapping to austin.utexas.edu again and be sure to use backslashes (\) in the path.
- You need to subscribe to Data Storage on austin.utexas.edu (UT EID required).
