Migrating a List from the Old Mailing List Server (Listproc) to UT Lists

Although moving your mailing list from the old mailing list server (Listproc) to the new Web-based UT Lists service is straightforward, it can be difficult to configure your new list because UT Lists provides so many options. In addition, some of the terminology is different between the two systems. If you are having trouble moving or configuring your mailing list, the following information will help.

If you haven’t already moved your mailing list to UT Lists, you should start by creating a new UT Lists mailing list.

Once you have created a new list, you can use a built-in tool to import the e-mail addresses of your list subscribers into the new list. Instructions for this process are available at Migrating a List from the Old Mailing List Server (Listproc) to UT Lists.

After you’ve added your list subscribers, you’ll want to configure your new list to resemble your previous list. Some of the more commonly used list configuration options include:
