T-Mobile HotSpot @Home Pilot
Information Technology Services (ITS) is pleased to announce that a six-month pilot test of T-Mobile's HotSpot @Home service will be running on campus from March 1 to August 15, 2008.
Note: This service is being provided as a pilot program only. The T-Mobile HotSpot @Home service will not be available on campus after August 15, 2008. The University of Texas at Austin does not endorse or recommend the T-Mobile HotSpot @Home service but is investigating the use of the campus wireless infrastructure to provide these types of services.
Participating in the Pilot Program
To use this service you must:
- Be a T-Mobile customer subscribed to the HotSpot @Home service.
- Have a Wi-Fi capable phone (T-Mobile site).
- Connect to the guest.utexas.edu wireless network on campus.
