Information for the following releases is available:

Release 2007 v5a (1.11) — 16 Sep 2007

Release 2007 v5a (1.11) includes fixes and enhancements related to the following issues:

  • [TED-215] - Collect sample code to illustrate connecting to TED using a variety of tools
  • [TED-218] - Correct records in test TED with invalid values for utexasEduPersonAuthnLockTypeCode
  • [TED-221] - Purge DPUSER dept codes out of TED (they are no longer updated)
  • [TED-224] - Change name of the engineering school
  • [TED-225] - Change TEDSearch jar to bypass the Test netscaler address

Release 2007 v5 (1.10) — 12 Aug 2007

Release 2007 v5 (1.10) includes fixes and enhancements related to the following issues:

  • [TED-212] - Department head data in TED needs to be fixed to allow the completion of ISORA reports
  • [TED-214] - The Office of Institutional Relations and Legal Affairs wants their mailing address to show up as PO Box R in the directory

Release 2007 v4 (1.9) — 01 Jul 2007

Release 2007 v4 (1.9) includes fixes and enhancements related to the following issues:

  • [TED-164] - Multiple entries for dept code EIS1 in entdir-test
  • [TED-177] - Make sure all department entries in TED contain UINs
  • [TED-187] - Need to create a new service for Shibboleth that does not have access to restricted student data
  • [TED-198] - Students with SWPSD restriction who are also employees are not showing up in the UT Directory

Release 2007 v3 (1.8) — 06 May 2007

Release 2007 v3 (1.8) includes fixes and enhancements related to the following issues:

  • [TED-190] - Add "clean" dependency to the buildjar target in the build.xml file for tedSearch.jar
  • [TED-192] - Remove department data entries under o=UTAUS

Release 2007 v2 (1.7) includes fixes and enhancements related to the following issues:

  • [TED-176] - Need to clean up old values in utexasEduPersonRecordRestrict and utexasEduPersonAttrRestrict
  • [TED-182] - Misspelling in error message
  • [TED-183] - Refit tedSearch JAR's attribute restrictions logic

Release 2007 v1 (1.6) — 11 February 2007

Release 2007 v1 (1.6) includes fixes and enhancements related to the following issues:

  • [TED-84] - Need to retire utexasEduPersonAssuranceLevel attribute (old PR0086)
  • [TED-155] - Need to make FLSA status available for employees
  • [TED-178] - Record restriction 'SWPSD' is not included in TED schema documentation
  • [TED-180] - Change TED interim secure message code to hard-code message owners
  • [TED-181] - Clean out old values of utexasEduPersonAssuranceLevel and utexasEduPersonGroup (roles)

  • [TED-68] - Need to change record restrict attribute "Ferpa" value to more intuitive value (old PR0061)
  • [TED-100] - Non standard-English characters cause updates to fail for homePostalAddress (old PR0105)
  • [TED-119] - Student pub affiliation is not being populated correctly for students (old PR0130)

Release 1.4.4 — 10 January 2006

Release 1.4.4 includes fixes and enhancements related to the following issues:

  • [TED-122] - Need to index utexasEduPersonEntitlementCode and utexasEduPersonAffCode
  • [TED-143] - Need to increase search results limit to 1000 entries
  • [TED-144] - Need to upgrade to OpenLDAP 2.2.30

Release 1.4.3 — 07 January 2006

Release 1.4.3 includes fixes and enhancements related to the following issues:

  • [TED-79] - Add capability to support student tiered restrictions (old PR0081)
  • [TED-134] - Leading spaces in override department name causing redundant updates
  • [TED-135] - Fix problem with sorting of class enrollment records during update processing
  • [TED-136] - Duplicate UT Libraries and Law School entitlements are being added
  • [TED-137] - Add the "affiliation only" access group
  • [TED-138] - Primary pub affiliation missing for some students

Release 1.4.2 — 22 December 2005

Release 1.2.1 — 03 July 2005

Release 1.2.1 includes fixes for the following issues:

  • [TED-78] - Adjust how classification codes are translated and fix translation of class. code 8 (old PR0080)
  • [TED-82] - Need service password reset utility (old PR0084)
  • [TED-87] - Need to freeze employee information in September (old PR0089)

Release 1.2 — 01 July 2005

Release 1.2 includes the following new data attributes:

  • utexasEduPersonHighestDegree – Highest degree (as reported by employee)
  • utexasEduPersonLastUpdateTime – Time of last change to entry in generalizedTime format (GMT)
  • utexasEduPersonPrimaryOrgUnitName – Primary (employee) department name
  • utexasEduPersonPrimaryTitle – Primary or preferred job title
  • utexasEduPersonPubAffiliation – High-level affiliation(s) that can be disclosed to the public

This release also includes fixes for the following issues:

  • [TED-9] - Graduation semesters not being populated for some former students (old PR0002)
  • [TED-33] - HR department address overrides not properly populated in directory (old PR0026)
  • [TED-46] - Need new data attributes for white pages directory (old PR0039)
  • [TED-47] - Work postal address should use information from the University Department System where possible (old PR0040)
  • [TED-57] - Source data values with leading spaces causing redundant updates to directory (old PR0050)
  • [TED-65] - Need new data attributes for white pages directory (old PR0058)
  • [TED-66] - Need "last updated" timestamp on TED people entries (old PR0059)
  • [TED-67] - Givenname attribute contains middle initial (old PR0060)
  • [TED-69] - AUP list page crashes with signer is manager for more than 2 departments (old PR0062)
  • [TED-70] - Summer course numbers have department code and course number compressed together (old PR0063)
  • [TED-71] - Degrees listed in major descriptions are displayed in mixed case (old PR0064)
  • [TED-72] - eduPerson affiliation not populated correctly for people who are both faculty and staff (old PR0072)
  • [TED-73] - School/College names are being populated with "short" titles (old PR0074)
  • [TED-74] - Certain suppressed campus mail codes are being displayed in directory (old PR0076)
  • [TED-75] - utexasEduPersonAffiliation value of "retiree" should be "retirement-eligible" (old PR0077)
  • [TED-76] - "Current" faculty with future appointments are missing "faculty" eduPersonAffiliation value (this is not related to true future faculty) (old PR0078)
  • [TED-77] - Student data attributes are not being pruned from the directory for some non-current students (old PR0079)
  • [TED-80] - Maximum number of record-level restrictions per entry needs to be increased (old PR0082)

Release 1.1 — 11 May 2005

Release 1.1 incorporates fixes for the following issues:

  • [TED-24] - Duplicate major descriptions being sent to TED (old PR0017)
  • [TED-30] - Home address, home phone, & email source codes being truncated (old PR0023)
  • [TED-32] - Duplicate (ignoring case) job titles being sent to TED (old PR0025)
  • [TED-45] - Office location not being populated for some employees (old PR0038)
  • [TED-61] - Separate access control groups for restricted student directory information and for course/class information (old PR0054)
  • [TED-62] - Modify access controls to allow self-read access to public information (old PR0055)
