As part of the Web Central Services Retirement project, the ITS website will be retired. Information about IT services will be replaced by two new sites, IT@UT and UT ServiceNow, and ITS departmental information will be migrated to a new location. All changes will be completed by 7/28/2016.

Telephone Service (Retirement in Progress)

Overview

New Campus Voice Service: Campus is in the process of converting to a new telephone system. The conversion will be taking place one building at a time through summer 2015. If your building has been converted to the new system please see the Voice Service page. For an updated list of buildings using the new service please see the project deployment page.

ITS provides various types of telephone lines, and desksets, to colleges and departments across campus.

Features

  • Installs and maintain phone lines and wall jacks for desktop office phones.
  • Provides a variety of desksets for office use.
  • All new telephones offered by ITS are compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Cost

Pricing varies based on the type of line and equipment ordered. You can choose from a Meridian 9000 Series Analog phone, a Meridian MBS II Digital phone, or a VOIP phone.
